The plaque honors the staff of the Mercer County Fire Academy, recognizing their partnership with the Trenton Fire Department and their support of its recruit training academy. Working in collaboration with Trenton’s five full-time fire instructors, the Fire Academy, along with MCCC administrative staff and fire instructors, supported the program by providing instructors for the hands-on drill ground portions of the training, as well as assistance with scheduling and other drill ground details.
